In case of fire, theft, accidental damage or breakdown, insurers may cover the cost of transporting the vehicles, passengers, their hand luggage and valuables to their home address in Egypt or back to their country if the insured vehicle cannot be and could not have been repaired (or, in the case of theft, has not been recovered in a roadworthy condition) by the intended time of insured's return home; or if repairs cannot be carried out at the incident country.
Egypt Assistance arranges and advance pays for necessary garage storage costs and costs of transportation and delivery, including any additional shipping costs by tow-truck or ferry or if eligible, the cost of one person to travel to the location of the insured vehicle by necessary transport to drive the repaired vehicle to insured's home address in Egypt or abroad or the cost of a replacement driver.
Insurers' limits will generally cover the above mentioned costs up to the vehicle's current market value in the insurer's country.
