In case of fire, accidental damage or breakdown, if a vehicle cannot be repaired in homeland, Egypt Assistance may organize the transport of the vehicle to its country / place of origin. In all cases, the vehicle must be stored in a safe place before dispatching and all necessary custom and export documentation and necessary customs formalities should be completed professionally.
When a vehicle cannot be repaired and its condition or current market value does not justify repatriation, the vehicle can be abandoned (but not destroyed in Egypt). Scrapping is not usual in Egypt but total loss vehicles are left to customs permanently.
